The easiest way to find a good selection of scholarly articles is to use the library's Research Databases. You can check a database's description to see if it includes scholarly articles.
If you use a database like Academic Search Complete, you have a few different ways to get to scholarly articles. After you do a search, look on the left for ways to limit your results to scholarly articles, and also check the icon next to the article title.
Other databases that have lots of scholarly articles include JSTOR and ScienceDirect.
Make sure that the article is more than a few pages—academic journals sometimes have editorials and other short pieces that aren't really what you're looking for.
If you need more information, the library has created a "Is it Scholarly?" library guide.
