Reserves Search Form

This tool builds a search using the reserves cataloging system implemented in Spring 2012. Its purpose is to eliminate errors that users would make in searching for reserves, such as using inaccurate department codes or not typing a space between department and course number.

Notes:

No fields are mandatory but for best results all should be used
Styling here is very basic. Can be improved but I'd like to wait to work on that until we have decided to use this
There's a hidden field that adds "SCC" to the search. This could be replaced with ARC, etc. to be used at the other colleges using this system.
I added the phrase "on reserve" to the search—this helps a bit when you don't have all the fields filled out
Lots more could be done using JavaScript, but I'm not skilled enough to do that
