Transfer Center Computers and Library

The Transfer Center has computers available for transfer research on the internet and for assistance with university applications. Our staff can aid you with information resources needed for your successful transfer. Please click on the Universities tab above to locate the websites of colleges and universities throughout California and the nation.

Transfer Admission Guarantees

Students will need to meet with a counselor to write the Transfer Agreement Guarantee. Here is a list of universities that offer guaranteed admissions to Sacramento City College students who meet grade point average and unit requirements. Students can write several transfer agreements with different universities without committing to only one school.

University of California

Seven University of California Campuses offer guaranteed admission to California community college students. For a generalized overview of the Transfer Admission Guarantee program within the UC System, please visit the UC Transfer Admission Guarantee Webpage (Outside Source).

• UCLA - Transfer Alliance Program (Outside Source)
  UCLA does NOT offer a Transfer Admission Guarantee. However, Sacramento City College does participate in the Transfer Alliance Program with UCLA. By completing 5 honors classes, and maintaining a cumulative 3.2 grade point average, SCC has a 90% acceptance rate into UCLA. See the Transfer Center Director under Contact Us tab for more details.
• UC Berkeley - Transfer Admission (Outside Source)
  UC Berkeley does NOT offer guaranteed admission agreements with any California Community College, but does accept transfer classes from California Community Colleges.

California State University

All CSUs offer admissions to Sacramento City College students who meet the requirements listed in the links below. No formal written agreements need to be completed.

College Representatives

The Transfer Center coordinates University Admissions Representatives visits to Sacramento City College on a weekly and monthly basis. Students can make appointments with college representatives to further discuss their transfer related questions. Additionally, college representatives will hold application workshops, financial aid workshops, and personal statement workshops. Campus Tours

Every year, based upon funding, free campus tours for students are conducted to northern and southern California universities. Please visit the events page for more information.

CSUS Crossover Program

Take a class at California State University Sacramento (CSUS) for no tuition fees. Qualifications: Completed 30 semester units, have a 2.0 grade point average, be enrolled in at least 9 units at SCC and 3 units at CSUS. See your counselor for more details.
