What is R.I.S.E.?

Success in college has everything to do with being connected - connected to the right classes, connected to inspirational teachers, connected to a passionate major, and especially connected to faculty, staff and fellow students who are genuinely concerned about educational achievement. RISE accomplishes this through the following services:

Personalized Counseling- academic, personal, one on one.

Tutorial Services- provides free tutoring in a range of subjects

Educational Enrichment- college tours, cultural film and lecture series, campus and community volunteer projects

Recently, in a show of support, RISE students responded to the inquiry: Please speak from the heart on what R.I.S.E. means to you. The following are quotes from several response letters:
