13th Annual Sacramento City College Baseball Golf Tournament a Success! Sacramento City College Baseball would like to thank you very much for support in this year’s golf tournament. Congratulations to the foursome of Tony Faryniarz, Jeff Yurtin, Joe Bitker, and Dan Mirsky for their first ever tournament championship! Taking 2nd place were the defending champs from Montez Glass, and tying for 3rd were the foursomes of Starr Vaughn Equestrian, Brandon Shepard/Rick Shepard/Paul Gallegos/Shawn San Filippo, and Brian McLean/Larry Livingston/Chris Everett/Rick Domenick. The tournament was, once again, a great time and a great success for the baseball program!
Special thanks goes out to Jeremy Briggs and his band, Relic 45, for playing during dinner. Jeremy was an SCC player, as well as a coach, before deciding to move on and pursue his music career. You can catch them in and around the downtown Sacramento music scene throughout the year.
Thanks again to everyone who played this year! We hope to see you around Union Stadium this season as the Panthers go after their 6th State Championship!
