Vocational Nursing
- A three-semester program approved by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians
- Qualifies student to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing. SCC's pass rates average 93 percent.
- Provides clinical experience in hospitals, clinics and long-term care facilities.
- LVNs are employed by acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, doctors' offices, clinics, laboratories, community agencies and home health agencies at an entry-level wage of $13 to $18 per hour.

Associate Degree Nursing
- Four-semester program approved by the California State Board of Registered Nursing
- Qualifies graduates to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. SCC's pass rates average 96 percent.
- Clinical practice in local acute care hospitals, surgery centers, home care agencies, clinics and long-term care facilities at an entry level wage of $18-$30 an hour.
- SCC has provided over 2,200 nursing graduates for our community since 1958.

LVN to RN Career Mobility Program
- Complete one (1) summer course and two (2) semesters in Nursing
- Combine general education and science with clinical experience
- Qualify to take the NCLEX to become a RN
- Gain a solid foundation to provide care for complex patients utilizing leadership, delegation and management concepts.
