New Student Orientation

SCC staff looks forward to providing you with support and assistance as you strive to achieve your goals at Sacramento City College. SCCÕs programs and services are designed to help you get the most from your educational experience.

General information and college Orientation sessions for first-time college students are held on campus prior to the start of classes each semester. New college students are encouraged to participate in these sessions, which include information on SCC programs and majors, course selection, online and telephone enrollment services, and information essential to college success.

Online Orientation

As an alternative for students unable to take advantage of the traditional Orientation, Sacramento City College offers Online Orientation through the SCC website, www.scc.losrios.edu, then follow-up with a SCC Counselor.
