Conclusion

Congratulations; you've reached the end of the tutorial. Now you can...

Take the quiz

There are two ways to take the quiz.

Desire2Learn

Does your class have an online site that you access through the Desire2Learn portal? If so, then you might be taking the quiz online in the "Quizzes" section of your course site. If you are not sure whether you will be doing this, ask your professor.

In Person

If your course does not have a Desire2Learn site, and your professor has sent you to this tutorial, you can download a quiz in PDF format. The file should open in Adobe Reader, a free program that is included in most computer setups. If you are unable to open the file, please download and install Adobe Reader or an alternative free program such as PDF X-Change Viewer.

download Download the quiz.

Once you have opened the file, print it, fill out the quiz by hand, and bring it to the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor of the Learning Resource Center on the SCC main campus during library open hours.

The quiz will require you to examine certain websites and make judgements about them and to show that you understand certain concepts explained in the tutorial. The quiz is "open book"; feel free to refer to the tutorial as you take the quiz.

Please take your time. If you get more than three answers wrong, you will be given one opportunity to correct your mistakes.
