If you want an orientation for another class, please fill out a separate form. 

Please indicate what you would like the librarian to cover in the orientation:

Basic tour of the 2nd floor, description of service areas
Use of LOIS to find books, ebooks and other materials in the Los Rios libraries

Due to time constraints, the librarian will only be able to cover either the databases or Internet research.
Use of magazine, newspaper and research databases to find online articles
Internet Research Orientation (subject directories, evaluation of websites, and more.)

Class assignment connected to visit and notes for the Librarian:
(e.g. "My class is working on an argumentative essay about global warming".)
Would you like your students to work on a take-home, generic library exercise that reinforces basic search techniques?

The librarians recommend that you have your students complete an exercise. 
Note: the instructor is responsible for collecting and grading the exercise
