Printmaking: Etching and Relief
3 units
Advisory: Art 300 and Art 320 with a grade of "C" or better advised. Acceptable for credit: UC, CSU; CAN ART 20 Hours: 36 hours lecture, 54 hours laboratory. Description: This course is an introduction to printmaking. Emphasized are intaglio, sugar lift, aquatint, soft ground, hard ground, deep relief, drypoint and engraving. This course may be taken twice for credit.

Printmaking: Lithography and Silk Screen
3 units
Advisory: Art 300 and Art 320 with a grade of "C" or better advised. Acceptable for credit: UC, CSU Hours: 36 hours lecture, 54 hours laboratory. Description: This course is an introduction to the techniques of lithography on stone and silk screen on paper or fabric. This course may be taken twice for credit.
