Prerequisites: ART 300 required.
Acceptable for credit: UC, CSU Hours: 36 hours lecture, 54 hours laboratory. Description: This course is an introduction to and exploration of the human image as a source of art. Stressed is the concentration on developing the skills needed to portray specific individuals, rather than a generalized image of people. This is primarily a practice course including elements of the history and traditions of portraiture. This course may be taken twice for credit.
