The dates for this course have been planned to allow for completion in time to qualify for the California Dental Hygiene Boards or assist you with requirements with LBC requirements. SCC is the only provider of this course in Northern California. This is a Board of Dental Examiners approved course in the administration of Nitrous Oxide, Local Anesthesia and Soft Tissue Curettage. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be licensed to perform these duties. Participants must be a Dental Hygienist, senior hygiene student or Dentist and certified in CPR at the time of the clinical sessions. A clinical knowledge of root planing is required for the Curettage portion of this course.

This course includes Board Infection Control, and California DPA. An instrument list and requirements for your three patients will be mailed upon receipt of fees. Click here for OSHA clinical wear requirements.

Fees: $1200 per subject certification
          CE units varies depending on subject areas in which you enroll - Category I
