For the past 25 years, The Sacramento City College Dental Continuing Education Department has been one of the largest providers of Dental C.E. and Board preparation courses for dental auxiliaries in the United States. In addition, many coursess are also attended by Dentists since they also meet their requirements for continuing education.

The classes offered in this schedule are short term, cost covering courses designed to meet the educational needs of the dental professional.  All courses are approved by The Dental Board Of California and are open to all dental professionals.  Participation in a course does not mean that a particular function or procedure is “Legal” for performance in the dental office.  You are responsible for knowing which procedures may be legally performed in California.   A copy of the Dental Practice Act can be obtained from the Board of Dental Examiners in Sacramento.
