Faculty Achievement Award

The SCC Emeriti Affiliates have chosen Reading Professor Linda Klein as this year's recipient of the Faculty Achievement Award.  The award recognizes a faculty member who has made significant contributions in the area of leadership, fine arts performance, professional activities, teaching innovation, and/or special projects.

Professor Klein has spent nearly 30 years teaching both students and colleagues.  She has served on numerous college committees and earned two prestigious NorCal Research grants.  Her dedication to her students, her enthusiasm, and expertise have made her a role model for many on campus.  "She is an excellent example for all of us in terms of her commitment and her spirit," says one of her many nominators for the Faculty Achievement Award.
