PROGRAMS
The CAC sponsors educational and intercultural programs that benefit SCCs’ diverse student population and the community of Sacramento. The programs sponsored by the Center will include speakers, films, community forums, book reviews and diversity workshops that are designed to promote advocacy, inquiry and inclusion.

RESOURCES
The Center promotes diversity, and welcomes the diversity of students, faculty and staff as they come together to meet, share ideas and opinions, to browse the various publications, to access the internet for cultural resources or to just visit with peers or staff.

GUIDELINES
The Cultural Awareness Center programs foster an appreciation of many different cultures, traditions and histories through forums, lectures, exhibits and artistic expression of music, dance and art. Students are encouraged to get involved. An Advisory committees meets each semester to discuss programming that adds value to the Center, our campus, and our community.
