(p) TIMED RESPONSE
When a timed response is required, the user shall be alerted and given sufficient time to indicate more time is required.
People who use assistive technologies may require additional time to complete an online task and should be given that extra time.
If your Web site prompts a user to do something, be sure to give the user enough time to do so. This can be accomplished by giving the user control over the timing of content changes.
For example: Your Web site prompts a user to click on Link A or Link B to continue. If the user does not choose a link within 10 seconds, they will automatically go to Link A. An alternative to this would be to prompt the user to choose a link with out requiring a time limit.
