Take a Coffee Break

Lets get together for a morning of conversation and relaxation over some coffee. This Tuesday in the Staff Lounge, Second floor of Rodda North. November 18, from 9:30am - 10:30am.

 

Please Remind Students

The fourth satellite seminar offered by Phi Theta Kappa is this fall, 2008. Consider bringing your class and/or giving extra credit or makeup assignments for attending. There will be a 15-30 minute discussion after the broadcast. Seminar #4: Dr. Michael Galaty, Archaeological Evidence for the Origins of Affluence. The 3rd Annual Young Men Emerging

Leadership Awards

Join us as we celebrate and recognize our male students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, through their accomplishments on campus and/or in the community. This event will be held December 4 in the Student Center. Lunch will be served at 11:40 a.m. the program will begin at 12:10 p.m. and last for approximately 50 minutes.

 

TAY Conference

"Serving Youth with Emotional Disturbance (ED) and Transition-Aged Youth (TAY) Being Served in or At-Risk for the Juvenile Justice System" January 15 & 16th, 2009 California State University Sacrament University Union. New Staff Information

Effective November 24, Ms. Pamela Morrison will serve as the Confidential Administrative Assistant to the President.  Ms. Morrison brings an impressive array of executive office skills, training and experience of significant knowledge of SCC, the Chancellor’s Office of California Community Colleges and the California legislature, and outstanding interpersonal communication skills.  She has served SCC

for 3 ˝ years as the administrative assistant to the Matriculation, Student Support and Student Development Office and has demonstrated exceptional organizational talent, interfaced with many areas of the college community, and shown great. Join me in congratulating Pam on her promotion to this increased position of involvement and leadership at SCC
