A brand is an image that inspires strong emotions. It helps students, potential employees and employers, and community members readily identify Sacramento City College and inspires confidence that we will deliver on our promise to work together, pursue excellence, and inspire achievement. All marketing needs to reflect our brand.

This guide has been developed to help create a better understanding of some of the elements that go into branding, such as consistent messages, graphics, the use of the college seal and logos, and the use of college colors. Together, these and other elements comprise the brand spirit, the emotional impression we make.
