LIBRARY WORKSHOPS
These free face-to-face sessions are 50 minutes long and take place in LR220. Anyone may sign up beforehand at the Reference Desk on the second floor of the Library. Seating is limited, so please arrive on time.
  • Session A: LOIS: take a brief tour; locate library books using the computer; learn Inter-Library Loan.
  • Session B: Databases: locate full-text magazine/journal/newspaper articles on the computer.
  • ESL Level A and B: Recommended for ESL students, but anyone may attend.

Proof of Completion: Students will receive a "Proof of Completion" slip after successfully completing a session and the accompanying quiz.

Faculty: Students should sign up individually. Subject specific (topic driven) classes that you want your entire class to attend can be scheduled separately by submitting a Faculty Orientation Request.
