Lab Schedule: The Lab is open 7 days a week, during the following hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

An important note about our hours: We sometimes open later to accommodate the testing needs of the Nursing Department. Click here for a list of dates when we open late.

The Department boasts a state-of-the-art Macintosh Computer Lab available to all students enrolled in a Graphic Communication class. All Lab computers are 2GHz Power Mac Dual-Core G5s, with either 17 or 19 inch flat panel displays, internal CD/DVD burners and 1GB of RAM. This isn't your father's Mac Lab (unless you're my son Connor, in which case, shouldn't you being doing your homework or something.) The Lab also hosts two flatbed scanners, two postscript laser printers, two color ink jet printers and an oversized inkjet printer capable of prints 24 inches wide and up 100 feet long. (Inquire at the lab for color printing costs.)

The Software: Lab software includes The Adobe Creative Suite 3 and 4 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Acrobat), QuarkXPress 7, Maya, iDVD, iMovie HD, iPhoto, iTunes, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
