Q: Can I see a counselor at the Davis Center? Return to Top

A: Counseling is available by appointment on Mondays and Tuesdays. To schedule an appointment, either ask the front desk or call (530) 747-5200.

 

 

Q: What do I need to do before registering for classes? Return to Top

Q: When may I register?

A: After completing an application (new and returning students) or a supplemental enrollment form (continuing students).  Your may check eServices for your specific enrollment date/time. Return to Top 

 

Registration is divided between Priority 1(continuing students), Priority 2 (new and returning students), and Open Enrollment.  Click here for the enrollment period dates.  However, students are assigned an appointment date/time within their priority registration period.  Students may not register prior to their appointment date.

 

 

Q: How do I complete the supplemental application? Return to Top 

A: Continuing students must login to eServices to complete and submit the supplemental application.

 

Q: How do I find my student ID number? Return to Top

Q: Where can I get a copy of my unofficial transcript? Return to Top 

            A: Students can access their grades and unofficial transcript on eServices.

 

Q: What if I do not know my eServices password? Return to Top 

A: The front desk at the Davis Center can reset students’ passwords. Students are required to present positive Identification (drivers lic., student id., passport, etc.)

 

Q: Do I have to pay for parking? Return to Top 

A: Parking is free at the Davis Center.  However, students may not park in the spaces of the businesses surrounding the Davis Center.

 

Q: Where can I take the placement test? Return to Top 

A: Assessment testing is offered at the SCC Assessment Center in Sacramento.  Testing is also offered once a term at the Davis Center.  The dates will be posted on the Davis Center website when they become available.

 

Q: How do I apply for financial aid? Return to Top 

A: The Davis Center can process Board of Governors Fee Waivers.  All other issues must be handled through the SCC Financial Aid office.

 

Q: Where may I purchase and return class textbooks? Return to Top

A: The SCC college bookstore sells books at the Davis Center in the beginning of each semester.  Dates will be posted on the Davis Center website when available.  After the sales dates are passed, students need to go to the College Store (located on the SCC main campus) in order to purchase or return textbooks.  Textbooks buy backs at the end of the term are done at the College Store in Sacramento.

 

Q: Where are the classrooms located? Return to Top 

A: Most of the classes meet at the Davis Center, but some classes are also held at Olson Hall on the UCD campus. Check the schedule for specific locations. Click for map to Davis Center, Click for Olson Hall

 

Q: May High School students take classes while still in High school? Return to Top 

A: Students over the age of 16 and possess a GPA of 2.7 or above may apply to the Advanced Education Program.  Click here for more information.
